Delicious Oven-Roasted Turkey

Ingredients

  • 1 Bone-In Turkey Breast
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 can (1/4-1/2 oz.) chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
  • 2 tsp. rubbed sage
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 12 cups unseasoned stuffing cubes
  • Warm water
  • Melted butter
  • Step 1

    Leave turkey in refrigerator for 1-3 days (not freezer), to thaw-out.
  • Step 2

    Preheat to 350°F. Meanwhile, chop your favorite vegetables, combine with other ingredients, and place in turkey.
  • Step 3

    Cook the bird until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached, about 3 hours.
