Step 1
Preheat the oven to broil.

Remove the turkey chops from the packaging and pat dry with paper towels.

In a large mixing bowl or shallow plate combine the shredded parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Rub each chop with olive oil on each side.

Take each turkey chop and press both sides into the breadcrumb mixture and set aside on a plate. Repeat for all turkey chops.

Heat a large skillet with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over medium high heat.

Add in the turkey chops and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until browned and set aside on a plate.

Pour marinara sauce in the skillet and add back in the chops.

Top each chop with a thin slice of fresh mozzarella cheese.

Place the skillet in the oven and broil for 4-5 minutes or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 and the mozzarella is melted and bubbling.

Remove and top with parmesan and fresh basil.
