Sun Dried Tomato Italian Turkey Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian Seasoned Ground Turkey
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 pieces of flatbread
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup sundried tomatoes, diced
  • 2.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings

  • Sliced red onion
  • Fresh basil
  • Chili flakes
  • Step 1

    Brown the ground turkey by heating a large skillet over medium high heat with the olive oil. Add in the turkey and cook for 8-10 minutes until there is no more pink.
  • Step 2

    While you brown the turkey, make the garlic sauce by combining the cloves of garlic, milk, vegetable oil, and salt in a blender cup. Blend for 30 seconds.
  • Step 3

    Assemble the flatbreads by spreading the sauce evenly over both pieces of flatbread.

    Layer the mozzarella cheese, ground turkey, sun dried tomatoes, and sliced red onion.
  • Step 5

    Arrange on a baking sheet and broil the flatbread for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Step 6

    Top with a sprinkle of chili flakes and fresh basil.
