  • 20 mins Total Time

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Taco Seasoned Ground Turkey
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 28 oz can of pinto beans (two 15 oz cans of refried beans)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups guacamole
  • 1.5 cups sour cream
  • ¼ cup salsa
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Toppings

  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 1 roma tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • Step 1

Prepare the pinto beans by heating a medium saucepan over medium high heat. Add in the pinto beans, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Allow to cook for 8-10 minutes. (Skip this step if using 2 cans of prepared refried beans)
  • Step 2

While the pinto beans are cooking, brown the ground turkey by heating a large skillet over medium high heat with the olive oil. Add in the turkey and cook for 8-10 minutes until there is no more pink.
  • Step 3

When the turkey is browned, remove from heat and allow to cool for 2 minutes.
  • Step 4

Using a potato masher or the back of your spoon, mash the refried beans. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool for 2 minutes.
  • Step 5

In a small mixing bowl combine the salsa and sour cream.
  • Step 6

In a 5x9 baking dish layer the refried beans, guacamole, sour cream mixture, ground turkey, and shredded cheese.
  • Step 7

Garnish with the sliced black olives, diced tomato, cilantro, and green onions.
  • Step 8

Serve right away with tortilla chips or refrigerate for 30 minutes.
