Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Turkey
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. ground black pepper
- 4 whole wheat buns
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4 leafs green lettuce

Step 1
In a bowl, turkey, salt and pepper. Once combined, form burgers into 4 patties. -
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the patties and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer, about 7 minutes per side. -
Step 3
To serve, top the bottom bun with 1 tablespoon ketchup, top with lettuce, turkey patty, red onion, tomato and avocado. -
Step 4
Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on the bottom of the top bun. Serve immediately.
