Step 1
Start by making the turkey burger patties. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Shady Brook Farms® Ground Turkey, 2 tablespoons of the minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, Gochujang, ketchup, and season with salt and pepper. Mix together until combined. Form and shape four turkey patties of equal size. -
Step 2
Using a large pan or skillet over medium high heat, heat up your pan for a few minutes. -
Step 3
While your skillet is heating up, you can make the Gochujang glaze. Whisk together all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Taste and adjust any ingredients as needed. Set aside. -
Step 4
Once skillet is hot, add the avocado oil and after a minute or two, add the turkey patties and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until nicely browned and cooked through (turkey should reach an internal temperature of 165°F). -
Step 5
Remove the turkey patties from the heat and onto a plate. -
Step 6
To assemble the burger, place some cheese on top your toasted whole wheat bottom bun, add a turkey patty, some Gochujang glaze, and top with lettuce, tomatoes and red onion. Spread some mayonnaise on the other bun and add it on top of the burger. Enjoy!
