Turkey Reuben Patty Melt

Ingredients
- 1 package Shady Brook Farms® Turkey Patties
- 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon sweet relish
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon extra light olive oil
- 8 slices marble rye bread, or bread of choice
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- ½ cup red cabbage sauerkraut
- 1 Tablespoon salted butter

Step 1
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, and sweet relish. Mix well and set aside. -
Step 2
Season the patties with salt and pepper evenly on both sides. Add oil to a large skillet and heat to medium heat. Add the patties and cook 4-5 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F degrees. Remove from heat and set aside. -
Step 3
On four slices of bread, layer the sauce, 1 slice of cheese, turkey patty, and sauerkraut. Spread more sauce on the remaining four slices of bread and top each sandwich. -
Step 4
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in the sandwiches and cook on each side 3-4 minutes until the bread is nicely browned and toasted and the cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy!
