Turkey Burgers With Guacamole

- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, to taste
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup sweet onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- Kosher salt and fresh black pepper, to taste
Pico de Gallo
- 2 ripe tomatoes on the vine or roma tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp. sweet onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- Kosher salt and fresh black pepper

Step 1To prepare the guacamole, place the avocado into a medium bowl and roughly mash with a fork. Stir in the onions, cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Step 2To prepare the pico de gallo, in a medium bowl, stir together the tomatoes, onions, cilantro, garlic, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Step 3To prepare the turkey patties, start an outdoor grill on medium-high heat.
Step 4Place the turkey patties on the grill and cook for 3 minutes, covered. Flip and continue to cook, covered, for 3-4 minutes more or until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 165°F using a meat thermometer.
Step 5Serve each turkey patty on a hamburger bun topped with guacamole
